Old School Wednesdays | Ooh Ahh!

Oh Missy, come back! Come back soon!

Old School Wednesdays | Do You Feel Me Now??

This is my favorite Britney Spears video! And this was right before she spiraled into the train wreck she is now! Ahh... Oh Britney, My Britney... Come back to me! Lol!

Old School Wednesdays | All You Ladies Pop That *Ugh* Like This

I remember the first day I saw this video. I was in suburban Chicago at my Aunt's house and everybody was in the den watching BET 106 & Park when this "chocolate goddess" came on the screen chanting, "All you ladies pop that thang like this...". Immediately, I was in love with Khia. Never before in the Hip Hop/Rap game have a seen a female come so raw with it and so real! Say what you want about Khia, but I say she is "The Queen of the South!" Ladies and gentlemen, the video that made us all love (and some of you hate... but that's okay - PROMOTION PROMOTION!) this lady, My Neck, My Back (Lick It) for this week's Old School Wednesdays.

Old School Wednesdays | Hip Hop's Orgins

There would be no Rap or Hip Hop had it not been for the contributions of Sugarhill Gang (Wonder Mike, Big Bank Hank & Master Gee). First debut in 1979, during the height of Disco, when Rapper's Delight hit the music scene, it opened the doors for predecessors of rap and Hip Hop - Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, LL Cool J, Run DMC, KRS-1, and even today's new schoolers in the game - Lil' Wayne, Soulja Boy, T.I. and so on. Sit back and enjoy this old school track which still to this day jam packs the dance floor at any club, block party or music venue.

Old School Wednesdays | FREAK OUT!

I bet most of you that are eighties babies (like me) don't remember this video. Probably because we weren't born yet! But, this song definitely aided our parents in the process of "creation"! Lol! But I remember my Mama Dukes bumpin' this one a couple of times while cleaning the house when I was a youngster! So FREAK OUT to Chic - Le Freak!
